Description
These US Army wet weather bags are more useful than they look. Soldiers would typically put all their spare clothing and anything they need kept dry in one of these, then lump it in their ALICE pack so it stays dry. There is nothing worse than wet spare clothes!
The design is simple - plain nylon bag with a rubberized internal lining that keeps water at bay. All the seams have been seal taped thoroughly to make sure there are no small leaks - though as these are surplus, we can't guarantee every seal is still watertight.
To seal the opening there is a simple nylon tie attached near the neck which can be tied in a loop. If you want to be a bit more sure of the seal on the opening, there is a handy wee guide printed on the side of how to tie it. Note you cannot completely submerge the entire pack due to its opening, but when used/tied as intended with the opening faced down, these will keep rain completely out. Keep your gear dry on your next hiking, camping or hunting outing.
