As Grade 2 helmets, the most common problem with these are degraded chin straps and/or hardware and less often, heavy external wear/corrosion. Many helmet liner attachment points are damaged or absent, meaning the liner is kind of floating. With these problems, the helmet is still great for collections or those willing to do a little modification/upgrading the interior.

Although there are no markings, we believe these will be dated from at least the 1960's on wards as these helmets come with an adjustable canvas chin strap and leather inner liner. The steel shell has ventilation holes to help release any built up moisture in the helmet.
