The Bayonet frog worked perfect to fit my Varusteleka Skrama 240 knife sheath, and looked it great condition. The musty smell was quite strong on them. I ended up putting it in front of a fan for a day at full blast and this seemed to dissipate the smell a great deal. I will probably set it out in the sun to sterilize it the rest of the way. I suppose it should be expected with army surplus as they sit in a warehouse with other used army gear. Just unexpected for the bayonet frog. All 6 I ordered smelled this way but I believe I can remove the smell.
